Debbie began her law enforcement career in 1981. She worked for the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force for two years.

Debbie became Sergeant in 1995-2000 and is currently D.A.R.E., G.R.E.A.T., and the School Resource Officer in West Burlington.
