On behalf of the West Burlington City Council, I would like to welcome you to the City of West Burlington's Web site. The City is bringing you this site so that West Burlington citizens and other interested persons can have easy access to all sorts of city information. I am especially pleased that this site provides electronic access to the City Code, Comprehensive Plan, agendas, and minutes to City Council meetings.

The agendas for City Council meetings will provide very useful and up-to-date information through the use of hyperlinks. For example, if you are interested in a particular item, say a pay request on a street project, all you will need to do is click on the hyperlink to look at the supporting documentation such as the city administrator's memo which provides background information and the invoice. As such, West Burlington citizens will have the same information that City Council members enjoy and, if interested, can closely follow the decisions that your elected officials are making on your behalf. By the way, you will be inspecting these documents anonymously. Isn't technology great!
